Who Am I?
I’m Karo Ahmadi, a Motion Designer, Graphic Designer, UX/UI Designer, and Educator based in Saint Louis, Missouri. My work lives at the intersection of design, motion, and interaction, where design, storytelling, and technology come together to shape meaningful experiences.
With a strong background in poster design, 3D visualization, and motion graphics, I thrive on experimentation, risk-taking, and pushing creative boundaries. I’m passionate about designing visuals that challenge conventions, invite curiosity, and create connections between people and ideas.
My Experience
I earned my BFA in Graphic Design at Tehran Fine Arts University in Iran before moving to the United States, where I completed an MFA in Graphic Design and am currently pursuing a PhD in Human–Computer Interaction. Since 2014, I have worked as a freelance designer and collaborated with startups, artists, and studios worldwide.
Professionally, I’ve served as:
Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Webster University, developing new courses in Motion Design and UX/UI.
3D Motion Designer at Triglass Production, creating animations and motion graphics for major clients such as the New York Red Bulls, Charlotte FC, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
UI/UX Designer at Etalyc (SaaS), where I designed big data–driven platforms like MobiScout, integrating AI, traffic analytics, and visualization.
Across all projects, I prioritize understanding client values and goals to deliver designs that are not only visually compelling but also strategically effective.
